In this war a huge number of armies of great strength including most brilliant commanders of ancient times fight in a war game. It also consists of campaign map which helps in getting good experience. A lot of new content is added which includes four new factions and 60 all new units. It is a war of 363 AD where the last Emperor of Rome is dead so, a divided Empire is rule by his successors.
Barbarians are present at every gate and War Storm clouds have collected over Europe, Asia and North Africa as powerful armies are moving towards Rome: Total War. The Roman Legions Carthage and Gaul are commanding the greatest force by using powerful war engines to destroy their enemies. All these are covered in special units like ferocious war dogs, armored elephants or Scythed chariots. It consists of most classic real-time 3D battles that can ever be seen in any game with amazing graphics. A large number of army is handled by brilliant generals such as Hannibal leader of the Carthaginians and Julius Caesar Rome's greatest general and leader. It consists of features such as easy managing of vast cities, large number of battles with the help of auto managing tools and pick-up and play controls.

This is one of the super adventures game as it also provides 2 official expansion packs named Total War and Alexander & Barbarian that not all games are providing. I really get enjoyed in both the packs. - By Essmeier |
