Backgammon NJ Starter Edition is a full-featured backgammon game for beginning to intermediate-level players. Players can match wits against a computer opponent or play against another person in 2-player mode on a single device. Using Tutor Mode and Hints, Backgammon NJ Starter Edition can show you how to improve your game.

Although this Starter Edition does not include the advanced skill levels of the full edition, both editions use the same world-class AI to provide the same Hints and Tutoring features.

This Starter Edition is not for advanced users who have played other top desktop backgammon games such as GNU Backgammon or Snowie. If you are an advanced user, please see our other app, Backgammon NJ.

LITE VERSION

Download Backgammon NJ Lite for free to see the look and feel of the game and how Hints & Tutor mode can help you improve your game. The Lite version is fully-functional with no ads but includes Manual Rolls only, so you'll need to roll real dice and enter the rolls into the game.

Note: The skill levels in the Lite version are different from those in the Starter Edition because the Starter Edition is geared toward beginning to intermediate-level players.
