The first version of Super-Tilt Baseball was a ground-breaking game that brought tilt to pinball video games. While the game was well received, we wanted to create something grander since this game does pay tribute to the grand game of baseball. So, we started from scratch and developed Super-Tilt Baseball 2.
We redesigned everything about the game. First, the table has been revised to improve game play dramatically. A new physics engine was developed to give the game greater realism. Stunning new graphics were created to give the game the feel of a actual pinball machine. For those that love getting close-up to the action, there is new zoom view that brings you down to table level just like having your nose pressed to the glass.
The Help system is also new. You can do an interactive walk-through of the pinball machine, and learn about every aspect of the table simply by touching any object that interests you. Help is available throughout the game, so you don’t have to leave a game in progress to find out how a feature works.
For those people that simply want a brief break from the daily grind or something to amuse themselves while sitting in the bleachers at a baseball game, this Lite version of Super-Tilt Baseball 2 is for you. For those undecided whether to buy a cup of coffee or the full version of the game, this version also will give them a chance to evaluate the merits of Super-Tilt Baseball 2 and hopefully decided to forego the coffee for hours of fun instead.
You can play as many single-inning games for as long as you like. It is the same game with the same table and most of the settings are available. For instance, you can resume games and view game statistics at the end of every game.
Since it is a Lite version, there are some limitations. The graphics resolution is constrained to 480-by-320 pixels in portrait mode only. The full game supports all the Game Center features – two-player matches, voice chat, leaderboards, or trophies (achievements), but all those features are disabled in this Lite version.
