About Star Dot For iPhone and iPod Touch
  • Star Dot is a word game where a player has to identify a mystery word through the process of deduction.

    The game contains several modes including:

    One Player- In this mode, Star Dot sets the player a mystery target word. The player then makes an attempt to guess the target word. Each guess entered is ranked against the mystery word. Star Dot awards a dot ('0') for every letter in the guess word that is in the target word and a star ('*') if a letter is also
    in the correct position of the target word.

    The player rates the result from the guess word and then makes another attempt to find the target word.

    Two Player - In this mode, the game sets each player a target word. Both players then attempt to deduce their target word.
    The one doing so in the fewest attempts is the winner.

    Challenge Mode - In this mode several players can compete at the Star Dot challenge. One player sets a target word and issues a challenge to the other players to deduce the word. The player who deduces the target word in the lowest number of guesses wins the round. The other players then set a target word in turn and at the end of the game the winner is the player with the least number of guesses.
